Everything You Need To Know About Sermon Clubs

  • What is a Sermon Club?

A Sermon Club is like a book club—but instead of reading books, members listen to sermons, and meet online to discuss it together. It’s simple, relational, and spiritually enriching.

  • Who are Sermon Clubs for?

Anyone curious or looking to grow in faith. Whether you’ve stepped away from a church, never attended one, or are seeking to serve others—there’s a place for you here. It starts with you. It leads to a path walking with God.

  • Do I have to be religious to join?

Not at all. We welcome skeptics, seekers, and long-time believers. Sermon Clubs are safe spaces for honest conversation and prayer, not judgment. Let the preachers preach, the teachers teach and the creatures reach out to God and be received and embraced.

  • Is this like a church or denomination?

No. Sermon Clubs is simply Christian and not denominational. It is a nonprofit ministry. We’re not tied to a single church, and we don’t push a specific tradition. Our goal is to help people explore God’s truth through community. If you participate and volunteer, keep it simple, keep it real and keep it going as someone said about prayer. It works here too.

  • What happens at a club meeting?

Your group will meet online (usually via Zoom or on whatever platform or schedule your club volunteer sets) to:

    • Reflect on a sermon; preferably a regular, ongoing series
    • Share personal insights and questions
    • Pray for one another (if comfortable)
    • Encourage each other through honest discussion

Meetings are relaxed and last about an hour. Volunteers are encouraged to develop a structure and format that works for them and their participants. It may be a one time meeting or it may go on for years.

  • Can I browse clubs before joining one?

Yes! Once you create a free account, you’ll be able to explore available clubs by day, time, or topic—and request to join the one that fits you best. In time, search filters will be provided to help you find your club. To start, you can manually browse the various profiles and club offerings.

  • Can I start my own club?

Absolutely. We provide all the resources, sermon guides, and training you’ll need. If you feel called to lead, we’ll support you every step of the way.

  • Do I need to be a Bible expert to lead a club?

Nope. Just be willing to host honest conversation and follow a simple structure. Our leaders are everyday people—volunteers.

  • How long does a club last?

Clubs typically meet weekly and run in seasons or follow a series. Some will be brief, others will last 6–8 weeks, while others are ongoing. You can always step back or try a different group later.

  • Is this really free?

Yes. Sermon Clubs is a free, volunteer-driven initiative. We’re here to serve—not sell.

  • Who’s behind Sermon Clubs?

Founded by You and Frank, together, we believe in making spiritual exploration accessible and honest.
